Albaretto della Torre

Albaretto della Torre boasts stunning views over the Barolo hills. From the house, you can admire the villages of Roddino, Monforte d’Alba, and Serralunga d’Alba, while the rolling landscape offers breathtaking scenery in every season.

Set atop a hill where hazelnut trees are carefully tended, the cascina enjoys a spacious garden planted with a wide variety of flowers, trees, fruit trees and aromatic herbs. Help yourself to freshly cut sprigs of thyme or rosemary to enhance your dishes, or, when in season, enjoy cherries, figs, or pears picked straight from the trees!

Just a 15-minute drive from Cascina Borine, Alba is a vibrant and elegant town, rich in history and brimming with charming boutiques, cafés, and restaurants.

Its beautifully restored Duomo, the Alba Cathedral, originally built at the end of the 15th century, is not to be missed. Alba is also home to several remarkable smaller churches, including the striking Church of San Domenico and the richly decorated Baroque Church of Saint John the Baptist, each offering a glimpse into the town’s artistic heritage.

Every Saturday, the town comes alive with its lively open-air market, where local growers bring fresh seasonal produce and regional specialties. 25 minutes away from cascina Borine, Barbaresco is a small and picturesque village renowned worldwide for its elegant wines. About 1h45 drive from Cascina Borine, Genoa is a city of quiet charm and rich character, where narrow cobbled streets—known as caruggi—wind between tall, timeworn buildings and suddenly open onto sunlit piazzas or glimpses of the sea.
